Logan Axon is an Associate Professor of Mathematics and the current Department Chair at Gonzaga University in the College of Arts & Sciences. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame in 2010, advised by Peter Cholak, and holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Grinnell College.
- Research Focus: Computability theory, algorithmic randomness, and intersections with probability through random closed sets and set-valued variables.
- Teaching: Courses include Survey of Calculus, Calculus-Analytic Geometry I-III, Ordinary Differential Equations, Fundamentals of Mathematics, and advanced topics like Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics.
