Liyun Yuan

Dr. Liyun Yuan is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. She specializes in transplant hepatology and cares for patients with chronic liver diseases, hepatocellular carcinoma, and pre/post-liver transplantation. Dr. Yuan completed her internal medicine training and gastroenterology fellowship at USC, followed by advanced transplant hepatology training at the University of Colorado.

Her research focuses on:

• Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease pathogenesis and biomarkers
• Autoimmune hepatitis mechanisms
• Liver transplantation outcomes and prognostic factors
• Metabolic risk profiling in hepatic disorders
