Liyousew BORGA

Liyousew BORGA is a Research Fellow (Postdoctoral Researcher) at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB), University of Luxembourg, where he is affiliated with the Digital Medicine group. His research activities are based at the Roudeneck campus, specifically in building BTL, room E05 030, 1, Boulevard du Jazz, L-4370 Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg.

His primary research focuses on Digital Medicine and Biomedical Informatics, leveraging computational models and systems-level approaches to address biomedical challenges. Key interests include the integration of digital technologies in healthcare systems, data-driven analysis of complex biological processes, and translational applications of systems biomedicine for disease understanding. This work sits at the intersection of computer science, medicine, and data analytics, aiming to develop innovative solutions for precision healthcare.

As an active member of the Digital Medicine team at LCSB, BORGA contributes to the center's mission of advancing systems-level biomedical research, with particular relevance to neurodegenerative disorders and population health studies through digital health interventions.
