Liyin Jiang

Dr. Liyin Jiang is a Research Fellow at the Catalan Institute of Chemical Research (ICIQ), working in Prof. Marcos García Suero's group since July 2017 under a prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship and Europa Excelencia Grant.

He earned his PhD from the Chengdu Institute of Biology (Chinese Academy of Sciences) between 2012–2017, researching copper-catalyzed borofunctionalization of 1,3-dienes under Prof. Jian Liao and Dr. Peng Cao.

His expertise lies in organic synthesis and catalysis, with pioneering work on borofunctionalization and carbyne/metal-carbynoid transfer methodologies. These innovations advance selective synthetic routes for complex organic molecules, particularly in sustainable chemistry frameworks.
