Liyang Tang

Liyang Tang, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Keck Medicine of USC. She specializes in head and neck cancer surgery, microvascular reconstruction, and thyroid/parathyroid surgery. Fellowship-trained in head and neck oncologic surgery, she earned her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University.

Research focuses on lymph node management in thyroid cancer and surgical outcomes improvement. She has published on tracheostomy techniques and postoperative complication factors.
