Lixia Yue, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cell Biology at the University of Connecticut Health Center. She is actively involved in research at the Calhoun Cardiology Center and directs the Yue Lab, contributing to the Cell Biology and Neuroscience Graduate Programs.
Education:
- BS in Biology from Sun Yat-sen University
- MS in Cardiovascular Physiology from Sun Yat-sen University
- PhD in Cardiac Electrophysiology from McGill University School of Medicine
- Postdoctoral training in Electrophysiology and Molecular Biology at Harvard Medical School
Research Interests:
Dr. Yue's research spans cell biology, cardiac electrophysiology, and molecular biology, with particular focus on cardiovascular physiology and neuroscience applications. Her work integrates fundamental cellular mechanisms with clinical relevance in cardiac function and neurological disorders.
