Livia Xhango is a Visiting Professor at the Department of European Transformation and Integration Studies, College of Europe (Tirana Campus). She has been a German language teacher since 2012 at the Goethe Center in Tirana, specializing in German as a Foreign Language (DaF) courses across proficiency levels. Her expertise includes curriculum development aligned with modern language-teaching standards and certification preparation.
As a certified Goethe-Institut examiner (A1 to C1 levels), she evaluates language exams and supports student certification preparation. She served as Deputy Chair of the Albanian Association of German Teachers and led projects such as the Western Balkans German Teachers' Conference and a President's Scholarship program for the Goethe-Institut in Berlin.
Her work emphasizes cultural exchange and pedagogical innovation, with a focus on promoting German language and cultural engagement in Albania through institutional collaborations.
