Livia Freitag is a Scientific Assistant (Researcher) at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine, University of Lucerne. She is currently conducting her doctoral research under the supervision of Ass.-Prof. Dr. David Weisstanner, addressing interventions and policy strategies to mitigate the shortage of skilled workers in the Swiss healthcare sector.

Her research interests center on improving occupational satisfaction and retention of healthcare professionals through systemic interventions and policy analysis. She has contributed to peer-reviewed publications from prior clinical research collaborations.
