Live Maria Roggen is a Norwegian improvising vocal jazz performer, composer, and professor at the Norwegian Academy of Music since 2006, becoming a full professor in 2012. Her work spans jazz vocals, improvised music, and traditional Nordic folk music, with a focus on intuitive and structured improvisation.
