Lisl Prater-Lee is an Associate Professor of Athletics and Physical Education at Vassar College since 1993. She earned a BA in Sociology and Sport Psychology from Oberlin College and an MA in Sport Psychology from the University of Iowa. At Vassar, she coaches swimming and teaches intermediate swimming courses (PHED 250 and PHED 251). Her contributions include growing the team and supporting student athletes' success. Her research and professional work focus on physical education, sports coaching, and the intersection of sociology with athletic development. She has also served as a graduate assistant coach at the University of Iowa's women’s swimming program (Big 10) and continues to engage in summer camps and clinics.
