Lisha Chen will join the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Rochester as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in July 2025. She is expected to receive her Ph.D. in Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in 2025, after obtaining an M.S. from RPI in 2021 and a B.S. from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2017.

Notable honors include the IBM-AIRC Fellowship and the IEEE Signal Processing Society Scholarship. She has also served as a tutorial speaker at ICASSP and AAAI, highlighting her expertise and engagement with the academic community.
