Dr. Lise Woensdregt is Assistant Professor at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam's Department of Sociology. As co-director of the Research & Innovation Lab 'Co-creation for Inclusive Knowledges', her research focuses on marginalized communities including transgender youth and queer sex workers through collaborative methodologies.
Her research examines knowledge politics in development partnerships using ethnographic and community-led methods. Current projects include 'Common Ground Dialogues' exploring co-creative methods across European countries. She teaches Participatory Action Research and supervises master's theses on gender, sexuality, and inequality.
Her publications investigate epistemic justice, community representation in development aid, and research ethics. Teaching includes courses on Sex Work in Anti-Trafficking contexts, Qualitative Methods, and Professional Skills.
