معرفی
Lise Stork is a Visiting Fellow at the Faculty of Science and Network Institute of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU), specializing in Artificial Intelligence. Her interdisciplinary work bridges semantic technologies and large language models to advance knowledge engineering, social demography research, and digital humanities applications.
Her research focuses on ontology engineering, relationship extraction using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and metadata enrichment through controlled vocabularies. She integrates reinforcement learning with social media discourse analysis to model demographic patterns, while developing hybrid human-AI systems for cultural heritage preservation and knowledge graph construction.
Recent publications (2024-2025) reveal a cohesive trajectory: leveraging LLMs for semantic knowledge extraction in ontologies, applying these techniques to social demography datasets, and extending methodologies to digital humanities through hybrid intelligence frameworks. Key themes include ontology-knowledge graph integration, social media analysis via semantic technologies, and metadata standardization for research data.
As an active contributor to VU's Network Institute, she participates in interdisciplinary initiatives examining digital networks' societal impacts, particularly through semantic technology applications in social science contexts.
