Lisa Yaszek is Regents Professor of Science Fiction Studies at the School of Literature, Media, and Communication (LMC) at Georgia Tech. Her research focuses on global science fiction as a lens for examining gender, race, and science/technology across media. She emphasizes recovering marginalized voices in sci-fi history and amplifying new global perspectives. Yaszek actively serves on editorial boards and award committees, including the Library of America and Eugie Foster Science Fiction Awards.
