معرفی
Dr. Lisa Wirz is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Cognitive Psychology at Ruhr University Bochum, Germany. She holds a PhD in Psychology from Hamburg University and has held research positions at institutions including McGill University (Canada) and Maastricht University (Netherlands). Her work focuses on the interplay between stress, memory, emotion, and neurobiology, with a particular interest in genetic and neuroendocrine mechanisms.
**Education:**
- PhD in Psychology (2014-2018), Hamburg University
- M.Sc. Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience (2012-2014), Hamburg University
- B.Sc. Psychology (2009-2012), Hamburg University
**Research Interests:**
Her research employs neuroimaging (fMRI/EEG), psychophysiological measures (stress hormones, heart rate), and genetic analyses to investigate how stress impacts memory, emotion regulation, and learning processes. Key themes include the role of noradrenaline, cortisol, and endocannabinoids in cognitive resilience, as well as the transition from goal-directed to habitual behaviors under stress.
**Publications:** Her work spans stress-induced learning dynamics, endocannabinoid receptor effects, and the physiological benefits of laughter yoga. Recent studies highlight molecular mechanisms underlying stress adaptation and emotional processing.
**Awards/Grants:** She secured a DFG Research Grant for developing cognitive reappraisal training to enhance stress resilience. She also serves as an ad hoc reviewer for journals such as Cognitive Affective and Behavioral Neuroscience and Psychoneuroendocrinology.
**Teaching:** Previously taught General Psychology II at Hamburg University's B.Sc. program.
