Lisa Tetrault

Lisa Tetrault is an Associate Professor of History at Carnegie Mellon University’s Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences. She specializes in U.S. women’s history, social movements, and the politics of memory, particularly focusing on the Reconstruction era and women’s suffrage. Her award-winning book, *The Myth of Seneca Falls*, challenges conventional narratives of the U.S. women’s rights movement by tracing the political construction of its origins.
