Lisa Ryan

Lisa Ryan is a Professor and Chair of Production Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). She holds an M.F.A. in Production Design from SCAD and a B.A. in International Relations from the College of William & Mary. Her roles include leading the production design curriculum, advising graduate students, and managing faculty collaborations to mirror industry practices. Ryan also serves as Founder and Creative Director of Sync Digital Media, a boutique design agency.

Her expertise spans film/TV set design, graphic design, and project management, with notable projects including Emmy-winning series The Buzz and Gold ADDY Award-winning Weird. Ryan’s work emphasizes storytelling through immersive environments, LED volume technology, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. She has contributed to over 15 productions since 2021, integrating innovative design techniques with practical industry standards.
