Lisa M. Glidden is a Professor at SUNY Oswego's Department of Political Science within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Washington at Seattle and teaches courses in area studies (Africa, Latin America, Middle East), development, environmental politics, and interdisciplinary programs like Global and International Studies. She also coordinates the Sustainability Studies Minor and leads two key initiatives: the Great Lakes Institute and OUTSTEPS, an interdisciplinary network focused on sustainability resilience in the lower Great Lakes region.
