Lisa Luft

Lisa Luft is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia's School of Audiology & Speech Sciences within the Faculty of Medicine. She earned her M.A. from Western Washington University in 1996 and has built her career in diverse clinical settings across the Lower Mainland, currently working primarily with Vancouver Coastal Health.

Lisa specializes in medical speech pathology, focusing on acquired/traumatic brain injuries, neurodegenerative disorders, and dysphagia management. She emphasizes client-centered care within interdisciplinary teams and is a certified SPEAK OUT™ provider for Parkinson's speech therapy.

Her clinical expertise spans in-patient acute care, rehabilitation centers, and outpatient clinics. She joined UBC's clinical education team to mentor future speech-language pathologists in evidence-based medical care approaches.
