Dr Lisa Kuhn is Associate Professor of Emergency Nursing at Monash University's School of Nursing and Midwifery, with affiliations to the Victorian Heart Institute (VHI) and Monash Health. She chairs the Monash Emergency Research Collaborative (MERC) and co-leads the Women's Heart Health Grand Challenge at VHI. Lisa is also engaged in an honorary role at Cabrini Health, collaborating on innovative projects in emergency care.

Lisa is a Registered Nurse with 30 years of clinical, academic, and research experience in emergency care. Her PhD research laid the foundation for her current focus on equity in cardiovascular healthcare.

She investigates opioid overdose interventions, family violence screening, emergency responses to pandemics like COVID-19, and media-based distraction techniques to reduce restraint use in elderly emergency patients.
