Lisa Del Torto is an Associate Professor of Instruction in The Cook Family Writing Program at Northwestern University. She teaches Weinberg First-Year Seminars, Expository Writing, and Design Thinking & Communication (DTC), collaborating with colleagues in Segal and McCormick since Spring 2010. Her work integrates ethnographic methods and sociolinguistic frameworks to examine linguistic behavior and sociocultural phenomena, with a focus on advancing social justice and access in education.
