Lisa Damminger

Lisa Damminger is a doctoral researcher at the University of Bremen, affiliated with the Department of Social Sciences and the Institute of History. Her academic work focuses on modern and contemporary history, particularly the intersections of social policy, urban development, and cultural memory.

Her dissertation investigates the Gagfah company’s entanglement with pension insurance and housing construction from the 20th century to the present, analyzing how housing projects reinforced social class distinctions and welfare-state dynamics.
