Lisa Crooms-Robinson is a Professor of Law at Howard University School of Law, where she teaches Constitutional Law, Gender and the Law, International Human Rights Law, and Supreme Court Jurisprudence. She holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in Economics from Howard University.

Her research focuses on international human rights frameworks, intersectional analysis, and critical legal theory, particularly how gender, race, and poverty intersect in national and global contexts. Her recent publications (2007–2012) reflect interdisciplinary engagement with gender studies, postcolonial legal analysis, and international human rights treaties. Articles examine topics like Jamaica's 1997 condom riots, poverty discourses, and Black feminist legal praxis.
