Lisa Caramico is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesia at Yale University School of Medicine. She holds key administrative roles including co-associate pediatric anesthesia section chief, director of pediatric preadmission testing, and former program director of the Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship Program. Her clinical expertise spans pediatric and adult anesthesia, with research focusing on perioperative anxiety in children. She practices at Bridgeport Hospital and previously contributed to anesthesia care at Fairfield Anesthesia Associated and a free-standing surgery center.
Dr. Caramico graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, completed her internal medicine internship at Cabrini Medical Center, and anesthesiology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She specialized in pediatric anesthesia at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Board-certified in Anesthesiology since 1994, she maintains dual roles at Yale and Bridgeport Hospital, integrating clinical care, education, and administrative leadership.
