Lisa Bonner

Dr. Lisa Bonner is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Eckerd College. She holds a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology from Purdue University and a B.S. in Chemistry and Biochemistry, summa cum laude, from Loyola College, Maryland. Her affiliations include leadership roles in the American Chemical Society's education initiatives.

Her research integrates three domains:

• Dopamine modulation: Designing bioactive molecules targeting brain receptors
• Polymer chemistry integration: Innovating organic chemistry curricula
• Chemical education: Authoring textbooks and studying pedagogical effectiveness
