Liqiong Wang is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of York. She holds a PhD from York and specializes in time series econometrics and stochastic partial differential equations driven by cylindrical Lévy processes in Banach spaces. Her teaching spans undergraduate modules such as Probability & Statistics, Econometric Analysis, and Applied Econometrics, as well as postgraduate courses including Financial Econometrics and Quantitative Methods for Finance. Her office hours are during term time: Weeks 1-2 on Mondays 14:00-16:00, and Weeks 3 onwards on Wednesdays 14:00-16:00, with appointments available outside these times.
Her research focuses on advanced mathematical frameworks applied to econometric problems, particularly in stochastic processes and time-series analysis. While no specific awards or grants are listed, her work bridges theoretical mathematics and applied economics.
