Linlin Ma

Linlin Ma is a researcher (R1) at the Faculty of Economics, Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, participating in the National Program 'Young Scientists and Postdoctoral Fellows - 2' of the Ministry of Education and Science.

She earned her bachelor's degree in marketing (2013-2017) from Beijing University for International Studies and master's degree in human resources development (2018-2020) from Sofia University's Faculty of Economics. As a doctoral candidate in business administration (2020-2024), she spent one year at Saarland University, Germany, and successfully defended her dissertation on 'Artificial intelligence readiness and adoption in SMEs' on October 24, 2024.

Her research focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence implementation in small and medium enterprises, with particular emphasis on China-Bulgaria economic cooperation. She actively participates in bilateral initiatives including the International Scientific-Practical Conference '10 years Cooperation, Exchange and Connectivity between China and CEE Countries' and various innovation competitions.

Her professional certifications include Project Management Ready from PMI-Bulgaria.
