Linlin Jensen is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Pennsylvania State University, affiliated with the Eberly College of Science. Her research focuses on chemical education, physical chemistry, and computational methods applied to nanomaterials and molecular systems. She holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Sichuan University (1999), a Ph.D. from Northwestern University (2006), and completed postdoctoral work at Brookhaven National Laboratory (2007).
Her teaching excellence has been recognized through prestigious awards, including the 2024 Priestley Prize for Undergraduate Teaching and multiple grants from the Schreyer Institute and Eberly College of Science. Her publications span computational studies of nanocluster properties, photocatalysts, and surface-enhanced Raman scattering mechanisms.
