Linjie Dai

Linjie Dai is a Lecturer and PhD candidate at University of Wisconsin–Madison's School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Holding degrees from Peking University, their research examines mediated affective publics in Chinese and diasporic communities through gender and racial lenses.

Their scholarly work investigates power dynamics in transnational communication networks and the formation of digital counterpublics. Current projects analyze historical and contemporary media practices across cultural boundaries.
