معرفی
Dr. Linh Dang is affiliated with the Adelaide Medical School, part of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at The University of Adelaide since 2025. She is also part of the Lysosomal Health in Ageing group at SAHMRI, having joined in 2022 under Associate Professor Tim Sargeant. Her research focuses on autophagy's role in aging and immune cell function, including developing blood-based assays to assess autophagic flux and exploring pharmacological and nutritional modulation of autophagy. Her current work examines T lymphocyte differentiation and the generation of stem cell-like memory T cells.
Dr. Dang holds a PhD in Immunology from Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden. She has contributed to the development of a provisional patent for autophagic flux assessment methods in blood samples, protected under Australian Provisional Patent 2024900604 and PCT/AU2025/050203. Her research emphasizes understanding autophagy's dual roles in T cell activation and differentiation, particularly leveraging autophagy inducers to enhance memory T cell generation.
Her work intersects immunology, cell biology, and aging, with applications in medical diagnostics and therapeutic strategies. While no specific grants or awards are detailed, her collaborative efforts with SAHMRI highlight her contributions to translational research in autophagy and age-related health.
