Ling Ma

Ling Ma is an Instructor of Chinese in the Department of World Languages and Literatures at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She joined UAB's faculty in 2012 after beginning her career as a part-time language educator in 2008. Her role involves teaching Chinese language, developing teaching materials, and fostering cultural exchange through student clubs, cultural events, and study abroad programs. She holds an MAEd in TESOL from UAB and a PhD in Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature from Northeast Normal University.
