Ling Liu is a Senior Lecturer in International Business at the University of Edinburgh's Business School, focusing on the internationalization of emerging economy firms and global strategy. She holds a PhD in Management from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in International Management from the University of Reading, and a BA in Economics from Shandong University, China.

Her research spans corruption effects in foreign entry strategies, low-carbon supply chains, and comparative studies of global and emerging market firms. She actively explores environmental policy impacts on international competitiveness and outward FDI patterns.
