Ling Busche

Ling Busche is an Adjunct Professor (Part-Time Faculty) at the University of San Francisco (USF). She holds dual undergraduate degrees in Elementary Education and Fine Arts from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Master of Arts in School Counseling from USF. Her career has focused on educational equity and urban student support, spanning 13 years across roles including elementary teaching, after-school program coordination, and middle school counseling.

Currently, she serves as Head Counselor for SFUSD’s Office of Counseling and Post-Secondary Success, supporting counselors and interns in San Francisco middle schools. Her work emphasizes systemic challenges in urban education and advocacy for equitable access to educational resources.

Ling’s expertise lies in bridging classroom instruction, community programs, and student counseling to address the needs of marginalized student populations. She actively contributes to policy discussions on school equity and mentorship initiatives for emerging educators.
