Line Bune Juhl is a Teaching Associate Professor in the Department of Law at Aalborg University, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. She is actively involved in teaching, research, and academic development, with a strong focus on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and legal education. Her affiliations include the Public Law Research Group, Family Law, Practices and Policies, and the Share-PBL Institute for Advanced Study in PBL.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of law and pedagogy, particularly in health law, administrative law, human rights, and children's rights. She holds a PhD from 2010 on the legal regulation of patient rights in genetic testing and continues to publish on rights-based legal frameworks. Her work emphasizes pedagogical innovation, supervision competencies, and organizational change in higher education.
Recent publications highlight her contributions to PBL supervision frameworks, mentorship in academic development programs, and organizational transformation through pedagogical models. Her research outputs span journal articles, book chapters, and conference papers, demonstrating sustained scholarly engagement.
Line Bune Juhl plays a significant role in academic mentorship and institutional development. She serves as a learning consultant at the Law Institute, participates in the leadership of Learning Lab, and is a member of IAS PBL. She supervises bachelor and master’s theses and is responsible for the course "The State Institutions." She has previously taught and led courses in health law, administrative law, human rights, and social law.
She is engaged in various professional activities, including organizing and participating in workshops and conferences such as the PBL Summer School and Nordic conferences on children’s perspectives in family law. Her work contributes to both legal scholarship and pedagogical advancement in higher education.
