Lindsey Peterson

Lindsey Peterson is an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design & User Experience at Grand Valley State University's Department of Visual & Media Arts. She joined the faculty in 2019, bringing professional experience in brand design, advertising, and user-centered research. Her work focuses on fostering community through design, leveraging empathy and cognitive studies.

Education: MFA in Graphic Design & Visual Experience from Savannah College of Art and Design; BS in Graphic Design & Photography from Olivet Nazarene University.

Research interests include accessibility in design education, cultural design studies, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She teaches courses such as Graphic Design Basics, Experience Design, and Senior Project: Graphics/Illustration.

Recent works include Hands In (2019) exploring interface design and See With Intentions (2018), a multimedia project blending print, web, and AR.
