Her work analyzes the causes, conduct, and consequences of U.S.-orchestrated covert interventions during the Cold War, gender dynamics in terrorism, and the strategic implications of regime change. Her book 'Covert Regime Change: America's Secret Cold War' received significant scholarly recognition. She teaches courses on U.S. foreign policy since 1945, the World Wars, and foreign-imposed regime change.
