Lindsey Kirschbaum

Lindsey Kirschbaum is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Recreation Management & Recreational Therapy at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, College of Science and Health. She is dedicated to advancing therapeutic recreation education and inclusive programming.

Her research and teaching focus on therapeutic recreation for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, emphasizing sensory integration, assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and sibling support. She integrates digital competencies and medical language into allied health education, promoting inclusive leisure and well-being.

Her publications reflect an interdisciplinary approach, particularly in integrating yoga into physical therapy, highlighting holistic and complementary methods in rehabilitation.
