Lindsey Byom serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology within the College of Nursing and Health at Viterbo University. She is based in room NRC 109 and maintains primary contact through telephone (608-796-3633) and email (ljbyom@viterbo.edu).
Her research focuses on clinical aspects of Speech-Language Pathology with specialized attention to Communication Disorders across diverse populations. Key investigation areas include Neurogenic Communication Disorders resulting from neurological conditions, Pediatric Speech Disorders affecting developmental trajectories, Aphasia Rehabilitation methodologies, and foundational Language Development processes. This work directly informs her contributions to the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program curriculum.
