Lindsay Zanno

Dr. Lindsay Zanno heads Paleontology at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences and serves as Associate Research Professor at NC State University. Her research examines theropod dinosaur evolution and Cretaceous terrestrial ecosystems using comparative phylogenetic approaches.

Research focuses on:

• Theropod anatomy and phylogeny
• Climate change impacts on vertebrate evolution
• Cretaceous paleoecology
• Dinosaur reproductive paleobiology

Field expeditions in Mongolia and North America have yielded discoveries including Siats (one of North America's largest predators) and Moros (smallest tyrannosaur). Publications appear in Nature, PNAS, and Scientific Reports.
