Dr. Lindsay Smith is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing, Paramedicine and Healthcare Sciences at Charles Sturt University. Her research transforms child and family health through strengths-based approaches, nursing leadership, and planetary health frameworks grounded in Bronfenbrenner's bioecological model.
Research Focus: Smith examines family resilience in healthcare contexts, spiritual well-being in adolescents, and chronic illness management within family systems. Her methodological expertise includes case study research, mixed methods design, and data integration.
Professional Leadership: As Director of the International Family Nursing Association and Assistant Editor for the Journal of Pediatric Nursing, she advances global family nursing practices. Her editorial roles extend to the International Journal of Children’s Spirituality.
