Dr. Lindsay H. Hoffman is an Associate Professor of Communication and Director of Engagement for the Center for Political Communication at the University of Delaware. Her work focuses on the intersection of political communication, technology, and societal impact, particularly examining how digital platforms like TikTok shape political discourse, voter behavior, and public policy. She has spearheaded the #BlogBlogProject since 2013, showcasing student analyses of modern media’s role in democracy, technology ethics, and social issues such as climate change and reproductive rights.
Research Interests: Dr. Hoffman’s research explores how emerging technologies, including social media algorithms and government surveillance tools, influence democratic processes.
