Linda Kurtos holds a Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Science in Sustainability and Environmental Management, and serves as the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies in the School of Environmental Sustainability at Loyola University Chicago. She plays a key leadership role in strategic planning, student recruitment, academic advising, and professional development for graduate students.

Linda’s research interests focus on the intersection of law and policy as it impacts:

- Sustainability assessment and reporting
She brings extensive experience in environmental law, including litigation in federal and state courts, and has contributed to major sustainability initiatives such as:
- Development of the University of Notre Dame's first comprehensive sustainability strategy
- Co-chairing South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s Green Ribbon Commission
- Collaborating on Chicago’s first Climate Action Plan
Linda teaches graduate courses in sustainability assessment, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and water law and policy at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
