Dr. Linda Grosser is a Researcher at the Behaviour-Brain-Body Research Centre within UniSA Justice & Society at the University of South Australia. Her work focuses on medical and health sciences, psychology, biological sciences, clinical sciences, and nutrition. She collaborates with institutions like Adelaide University, Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, and Flinders University.
Her research explores the impacts of shift work, sleep deprivation, and circadian rhythms on health, including studies on cortisol regulation, metabolic health, and maritime safety. Key projects include randomized controlled trials on calorie restriction and time-restricted eating for diabetes prevention, and investigations into driver performance under fatigue.
Recent publications address automation in maritime safety, compliance with COLREGs, and human-AI interaction. She has also contributed to studies on the effects of fasting during night-shift work on glucose metabolism.
Dr. Grosser’s work is funded by grants such as the NHMRC. She leads interdisciplinary teams and contributes to the Behaviour-Brain-Body Research Centre’s mission to address critical social health needs through research.
