Linda Coleman

Linda Coleman is an Associate Professor in the Department of English and Classics at the University of Maryland, affiliated with the Maryland Language Science Center. She previously served as Director of Academic Writing from 1994 to 2005. Her research focuses on linguistic analysis of discourse, particularly in political language, humor construction, rhetoric, and writing pedagogy. She is currently investigating retellings of the Trojan War narrative from Homer to modern adaptations.
