Linda Coco is a Professor of Law and Director of Legal Clinics at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law since July 2024. She co-directs the Bankruptcy Clinic, which focuses on advancing access to debt relief.

Professor Coco specializes in Bankruptcy Law, Commercial Law, Civil Procedure, and Contracts Law. Her research emphasizes experiential learning through clinical practice, and she has authored works on neoliberalism, debt, and bankruptcy. She co-authored the 1996 book Children First: A Parent's Guide to Fighting Corporate Predators with Ralph Nader.
As co-director of McGeorge’s Bankruptcy Clinic, Coco integrates practical legal training with advocacy for debt relief. She has previously taught at Barry University School of Law, directed the Master of Law Program at Golden Gate University School of Law, and instructed in St. John’s University School of Law’s LLM program. Her professional background includes clerkships in U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Maryland and Northern District of California.
