Linda C. Burks is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science at Santa Clara University's College of Arts and Sciences. She earned her bachelor's degree in mathematics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, followed by an M.S. in mathematics and a Ph.D. in mathematics education from the University of Michigan.

Her research focuses on improving mathematics support for first-year university students and bridging the gap between high school and college mathematics curricula.
