Lin Yuanze is a Professor and Department Head at the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts, National Chengchi University. He also serves as Director of the Center for Research on Chinese Cultural Subjectivity. His academic work bridges German classical philosophy, ethics, and Chinese philosophy.

Lin's research focuses on Habermas' philosophy, German classical linguistics, and ethical frameworks. He explores communicative rationality, compares Chinese philosophy with Western theories, and applies these concepts to modern societal challenges. His work spans applied ethics, Confucian post-conventional ethics, and linguistic typology.
Lin's recent publications analyze medical humanities, Confucian ethics, and Mead's theories in communicative communities. His research integrates Wundt's language origins with Chinese character analysis to decode thought patterns.
