Lin Ma

Dr. Lin Ma is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at the University of Virginia. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University (2006), and has held academic positions at Clemson University (2006-2011), Virginia Tech (2011-2017), and the University of Virginia (2017-present). His research focuses on propulsion systems, optical diagnostics, and aerosol science with applications to combustion, fuel sprays, and viral transmission mechanisms.
