Lim Jun Wee, Vincent is a Lecturer at the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies, National University of Singapore (NUS), affiliated with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He holds a Master of Public Health from NUS and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Honours with Distinction) from NUS, complemented by a Diploma in Health Sciences Nursing from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. With over a decade of clinical experience at Singapore General Hospital (SGH), he transitioned from Neurology/Neurosurgery care to critical care in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, and later specialized in community nursing focusing on chronic disease management.
His research interests emphasize health promotion, chronic disease management, and community nursing, driven by his belief in integrating public health perspectives into nursing education. He actively promotes preventive care and community-based interventions. Notable awards include the 2023 SingHealth Associate in Education Award and the Covid-19 Resilience Medal. His teaching focuses on Social and Behavioural Determinants of Health and Community and Public Health.
