Lili Zhang

Lili Zhang is a Tenure Track Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Aarhus University.

Her research focuses on:

• Mechanical and time-dependent behavior of polymer matrix composites
• Thermodynamic modeling of polycarbonate materials
• Molecular dynamics simulations for material fatigue and deformation
• Computational characterization of thermally aged polymers
• Continuum-like deformation analysis in mechanics

Additional work includes computational tools for stress extraction from MD simulations and studies on cell membrane mechanics.
